Team Lead/Project Lead
Position Summary:
Function as a liaison between customer and NLTD to establish a strong business relationship with the customer by understanding customer’s needs and expectations, managing the project risk, delivering professional services, and adding value to customer’s business.
Provide solid project estimates, sound project plans, and appropriate resource plans and task assignments.
Communicate any project progress, open issues, and potential risks to the customer by conference call,weekly report,issue log, risk analysis forms etc.
Build and maintain highly motivated and exceptional performing project team.
Assess team members’ training needs and make recommendations for the necessary skills and knowledge required by the project.
Ensure that software development standards, processes, and best practices are followed in project development activities.
Be directly accountable for delivering the software product on-time, on-budget, and within predefined project scope.
Authorities:
Enforce Taylor company core values and NLTD company rules to create a supportive, disciplined, and professional working environment.
Participate in making recommendations for recruitment, probation, promotion, and termination of team members.
Provide infrastructure recommendations to meet the software development needs.
Skills and Knowledge Needed:
Good verbal and written communication skills including (but not limited to) reading, writing, listening, and speaking English fluently.
Good team building skills
Excellent software project management skills.
5+ years experience in developing and delivering commercial/enterprise software products.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science major or related fields required; MA.Sc degree preferred.
